Every project is different. The experience required to execute it well is cumulative.

For more than four decades, our work has taken us through residential construction, landscape and outdoor environments, engineering, development, and complex project coordination. Our experience continues to shape how we approach each project with Signature Exteriors.

Our work is not defined by a particular style or a predetermined formula. It is defined by an understanding of how design, materials, structure, site conditions, construction, and the surrounding environment need to come together to create a finished result that feels considered from every perspective.

Our projects range from carefully integrated swimming pools and outdoor living environments to substantial masonry, hardscape, structures, and complete exterior transformations.

Some are defined by architecture. Others by the landscape. 

Some by the scale of the property or the complexity of the site. What they share is the expectation that every element should belong to the whole.

We select projects carefully and remain directly involved throughout their development and construction. That allows the experience behind the work to remain present in the work itself, from the earliest considerations through completion.

The Sonoran Desert presents conditions that cannot be separated from the work.

Sun, heat, drainage, grade, vegetation, materials, views, privacy, and the relationship between a home and its surrounding landscape all influence how an exterior environment should be conceived and constructed.

Our extensive experience working in Arizona has given us a practical understanding of those conditions and how they affect long-term performance, appearance, maintenance, and enjoyment.

The result is work that is designed not simply to look appropriate when completed, but to belong to its setting and perform within it.

The projects presented here represent a selection of our work and the range of environments, materials, structures, and construction challenges we have undertaken.

They are not intended to define a Signature Exteriors style.

Instead, they illustrate what is possible when experience, design, technical knowledge, and disciplined construction are brought together around the specific character of a property and the people who will use it.

We believe good construction should be evident in the finished environment without needing to announce itself.

Proportion should feel natural. Materials should work together. Details should make sense. Transitions should feel intentional. Structures should respond to their surroundings. And the finished environment should feel as though it was meant to be there.

That is the standard we bring to our work.

Not every project needs to be the largest, most elaborate, or most expensive.

It needs to be the right project, properly considered and properly built.
