We recognize that the most successful and complex projects are rarely the work of one discipline. They are the result of experienced professionals bringing their respective knowledge together, communicating clearly, and understanding how their work contributes to, interacts with, and affects the work of others.
Signature Exteriors is experienced working within this environment.
We have extensive experience collaborating with design teams, architects, fabricators, custom builders, landscape architects, designers, engineers, developers, specialty consultants, and property owners, and owners representatives on projects where the exterior environment is an important part of the overall design where our role is to contribute our experience without losing sight of the larger vision.
We understand the expectations of working on a professionally managed project.
Drawings, specifications, schedules, engineering, site conditions, material selections, inspections, fabrication, and construction do not exist independently. They intersect throughout the life of a project.
Our experience allows us to participate in those conversations from a construction perspective while respecting the responsibilities of the other professionals involved.
In a collaborative team environment, we do not need to own the design to understand it. We do not need to manage the entire project to contribute to it. We need to understand our responsibility, communicate effectively, and deliver our portion of the work in a way that supports the project as a whole.
Architectural intent is important. We recognize that when an architect establishes the design direction, we work to understand what the design is intended to accomplish, not simply what is shown on a drawing.
Our experience with swimming pools, water features, exterior structures, specialized materials, and complex aquatic environments allows us to provide practical construction perspective when appropriate while maintaining respect for the architect's role.
The objective is to preserve the intent of the design while addressing the realities of construction.
The relationship between a custom home and its exterior environment requires coordination.
Pools, spas, structures, masonry, decks, drainage, utilities, landscape improvements, and exterior finishes frequently intersect with the work of the builder and other trades. We understand those interfaces.
We are accustomed to working within established project schedules, site requirements, documentation standards, and coordination structures while remaining accountable for the work within our scope.
Our objective is not simply to complete our portion of the project. It is to complete it in a manner that supports the work taking place around it.
Our experience extends well beyond conventional swimming pool construction. Since 2001, our specialized experience has included aquatic and water-feature installations in high-rise environments, elevated recreation decks, podiums, and platforms, along with stainless steel pool and spa fabrication and installation, acrylic panels and viewing elements, constructed envelopes, engineered structures, specialized vessels and tanks, and purpose-built aquatic and wellness environments.
This work has included specialized spas, saunas, snow rooms, cold plunges, and other environmental installations where water, structure, architecture, engineering, materials, fabrication, mechanical systems, and the user experience must work together.
Our experience also includes entertainment, attractions, and world-class resort and spa environments where specialized aquatic and environmental installations are integral to the overall experience.
These applications often require solutions that extend beyond conventional pool construction.
In our experience, this has involved elevated structural conditions, complex interfaces, specialized materials, engineered containment, fabrication tolerances, waterproofing, access limitations, coordination with other building systems, and installation within highly developed architectural environments.
These experiences allow us to provide a valuable perspective when a residential or private-development project incorporates an element that falls outside the conventional.
We understand that specialized work often requires collaboration among architects, structural and MEP engineers, builders, specialty fabricators, manufacturers, consultants, and other specialized project professionals.
Our role is to contribute relevant experience, understanding the requirements of our scope, communicating effectively with the project team, and helping with the translation of specialized design intent into a coordinated, constructible result.
